Northwards - Wakefield friends, Yorkshire Sculpture Park, Thornton le Dale house sitting clients, metal detecting in Northumberland, beaches, National Trust garden “Cragside”, the Borders, Cheviots and then Crinan Ferry back garden for several nights.
Many of the outdoor sculptures in the park were pretty weird to our eyes but the indoor gallery exhibits of Joanna Vasconcelos were fun..

After arriving at Crinan in cold, heavy rain on Tuesday, it has been absolutely beautiful here ever since as you can see. Lovely dog walks, meals outside, only one midge attack - perfect!
